IGI’s Level 10 National Bar Champion Lexi Funk and coach Todd had a wonderful time on the Region 5 All-Star trip! On Monday they arrived in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic. For 3 of the days the group worked out and trained at their National Training Center. To Todd’s surprise it was the same coliseum that was used in the 2003 Pan American Games where Todd and former IGI Elite gymnast Liz Tricase came to with the US National Team! The Region 5 Dream Team trained along side their gymnasts. Their goal was to helping the gymnasts and coaches improve the sport in their country. Which everyone agreed was the best part of the trip! Congratulations to Lexi on making the Region 5 All Star Team trip!!!
On December 20th, watch and cheer for the gymnasts as they perform a dance incorporating elements of gymnastics and dance as well as demonstrate the skills they have learned and are working on.

The Term 2 schedules (October 20th – December 20th) for Gymnastics & Cheer are now available. Priority Registration is October 6th- October 12th. Open Registration begins October 13th.We will be hosting a Winter Show December 20th, more information to come.
Although we will not have regular classes during Thanksgiving Break we will have Thanksgiving Break Workshops, where your child can rehearse their Winter Show dance, create arts and crafts and participate in an 1 hour gymnastics class based on their age and/or class level.
Closures during Term 2 are as follows.:
Thanksgiving Week Break (November 24th -29th). There will be no classes held after 12 pm on Halloween, October 31st.
The Term 1 Schedules for both Cheer and Gymnastics are now posted and registration is open. We have made some changes to our Recreational Program and the skills required for each level is slightly different. If your child was in a level before they may not necessarily be in that level now. This does not mean your child’s skill level has necessarily decreased or that they are moving to a lower level class, it is just part of the adjustment we have made in our recreational class program.
Please be patient with us as each coach will be evaluating each student in the first few weeks of classes to be sure each gymnast is in the appropriate class. We will be posting the skills required for each of our recreational classes on a bulletin board in the gym. This way parents know which skills are needed to move out of each level and which skills coaches are evaluating in order for each child to move up.
Thank you for your patience during this time!!!
